A. CALL TO ORDER

President Valerie Jochen called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.

B. DECLARATION OF QUORUM/WELCOME

Five Board Members were present: President Valerie Jochen, Vice-President Paul Dorsett, Secretary Jeff Harris, Trustees Carol Barrett and Michael Wesson. Trustee Quinn Williams arrived at 12:05 pm. Trustee Kimberly McAdams was not in attendance.

C. RECEIVE PUBLIC INPUT FROM COMMUNITY RELATED TO THE ATTENDANCE ZONE RECOMMENDATION MADE ON AUGUST 19, 2014

Deputy Superintendent Greg McIntyre gave a brief overview of the proposed 2015-2016 Elementary School Attendance Zones and reviewed the process the Rezoning Committee used to arrive at the proposed F1 scenario. The following community members addressed the Board with comments:

1. Fiona Lockhart – requested the Board to consider grandfathering third grade students.

2. Stephanie Boivie – spoke against the proposed zoning

3. Michael Schaefer – spoke in favor of the rezoning

4. Katherine Anders – spoke against the proposed rezoning

D. ADJOURNMENT

Without objection, President Valerie Jochen adjourned the meeting at 12:20 pm.
