2012-2013 Calendar Feedback

Below are the three draft calendar options for the 2012-13 school year. To see the full calendar, please click on the thumbnail. We have also included the instructional assumptions and past practices that DEIC considered when developing each option.


All three calendar options have the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving week as holidays, have a one-week spring break on the same week as Texas A&M University is proposing their spring break, have Martin Luther King, Jr. Day as a holiday, have Good Friday as a holiday, and have Memorial Day as a holiday. Each option also provides a parent conference day for elementary schools in October and a staff development day on President’s Day in February.
