A. CALL TO ORDER

President Valerie Jochen called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. and declared a quorum was present with seven members present.

B. DECLARATION OF QUORUM

In attendance were President Valerie Jochen, Vice President Paul Dorsett, Secretary Jeff Harris, Trustees Randall Pitcock, Garland Watson, Carol Barrett and Kimberly McAdams

C. WORKSHOP SESSION

C-1. Consideration, discussion and possible action related to the proposed 2013-2014 Budget

Board President Valerie Jochen recognized Superintendent Eddie Coulson who, along with Deputy Superintendent Glynn Walker, answered questions and gave a brief overview of the proposed CSISD budget for 2013-2014.

C-2. Consideration, discussion and possible action related to calling a CSISD Bond Election to be held on November 5, 2013

Superintendent Eddie Coulson and Deputy Superintendent Clark Ealy reported and led discussion regarding the possibility of CSISD calling a Bond Election for the November 5, 2013 General Election.

C-3. Consideration, discussion and possible action related to TASB Update 97

President Valerie Jochen recognized Superintendent Eddie Coulson who reported that the update had been emailed out and to please email questions about the update to him. Approval will be sought at the September Regular Board Meeting.

C-4. Consideration, discussion and possible action related to the Texas Association of School Boards and Texas Association of School Administrators Annual Conference September 26-29

Discussion occurred.
