Workshop Meeting Minutes

June 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.

A. CALL TO ORDER

President Valerie Jochen called the meeting to order at 2:03 p.m.

B. WELCOME/QUORUM

All seven board members were present: President Valerie Jochen, Vice President Paul Dorsett, Secretary Jeff Harris, and Trustees Carol Barrett, Kimberly McAdams, Quinn Williams, and Michael Wesson.

C. WORKSHOP SESSION

C-1. Consideration, discussion and possible action related to the proposed 2014-2015 employee salaries and benefits

Deputy Superintendent Glynn Walker presented information and answered questions related to the proposed 2014-2015 employee salaries and benefits.

MOTION 4500: I move approval of the proposed 2014-2015 employee salaries and benefits as presented. The motion was made by Vice President Paul Dorsett and seconded by Trustee Carol Barrett. The motion passed with seven ayes and zero nos.

C-2. Team of Eight Training for the CSISD School Board and Superintendent.

The trustees, the superintendent and the deputy superintendents trained with CRSS trainer Rick Ogden.

D. ADJOURN

Without objection President Jochen adjourned the meeting at 5:40 p.m
