BOARD OF TRUSTEES WORKSHOP MEETING
April 15, 2003

President Susan Lowy called the workshop meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
B. DECLARATION OF QUORUM
President Susan Lowy, Vice President Marc Chaloupka, Secretary Dayne Foster and Trustee Mary Broussard were present. Trustee Tim Jones arrived at 5:32 p.m. Trustee Steve Aldrich arrived at 5:35 p.m. Trustee Larry Johnson arrived at 5:50 p.m.
C. WORKSHOP SESSION
1. FFAA Local Policy
Discussion occurred regarding Policy Update 69, specifically Policy FFAA Local, which involves medical examinations for students involved in physical activities.
Steve Johnson discussed the current legislative action in Austin, the ever fluid nature of that information, and the possible impact of that legislation on CSISD should it be voted into law. Staff meetings were conducted at each campus location and Central Office the week of April 7-11 in an attempt to inform CSISD faculty and staff of the legislative action and its possible impact on the CSISD system as well as the possible impact on individuals.
MOTION 3441: I move to adjourn the meeting. The motion was made by Marc Chaloupka and seconded by Dayne Foster. The motion carried with seven ayes.
Without objection, President Lowy adjourned the meeting at 6:50 p.m.
