A. CALL TO ORDER

Vice-President Marc Chaloupka called the meeting to order at 6:08 p.m.

B. DECLARATION OF QUORUM

Vice-President Marc Chaloupka, Secretary Dayne Foster and Trustees Tim Jones, Larry Johnson and Mary Broussard were present. Trustee Steve Aldrich arrived at 6:14 pm. President Susan Lowy was absent.

C. WORKSHOP SESSION
1. Discuss Membership in the Texas School Coalition
Discussion was held among Board of Trustees regarding membership in the Texas School Coalition. A decision on membership will be made at a later date. A break was taken at 6:42 pm. Workshop reconvened at 6:50 pm.
2. Discuss Revision to Local Policy FNCE - Student Conduct: Paging Devices
Eddie Coulson presented the proposed policy change to the Board of Trustees regarding paging devices and cell phones. There was concern expressed regarding the wording of the proposed policy change. This item was pulled from the agenda and will be re-worked and brought back for the January Board Meeting.
D. ADJOURNMENT

MOTION 3308: I move to adjourn the meeting. The motion was made by Larry Johnson and seconded by Dayne Foster. The motion carried with six ayes.

Without objection, Vice-President Chaloupka adjourned the meeting at 7:04 p.m.
