A. CALL TO ORDER

President Susan Lowy called the meeting to order at 5:04 p.m.

B. DECLARATION OF QUORUM

President Susan Lowy, Vice President Marc Chaloupka, Secretary Dayne Foster, Trustees Tim Jones and Mary Broussard were present. Trustees Steve Aldrich and Larry Johnson were absent.

C. BOARD
1. Consider Approval of Resolutions for submission to the Texas Association of School Boards Delegate Assembly for the year 2002
a. Vexatious Requests under Public Information Act
President Lowy read the resolution into record.

MOTION 3363: I move approval of the resolution as read. Motion made by Tim Jones and seconded by Marc Chaloupka. The motion carried with four ayes and one nay.

b. Higher Education Authorities pursuant to Chapter 53 of the Texas Education Code
President Lowy read the resolution into record

MOTION 3364: I move approval of the resolution as read. The motion was made by Marc Chaloupka and seconded by Mary Broussard. The motion carried with five ayes.

2. Elect a Texas Association of School Boards Representative Assembly Delegate

MOTION 3365: I move to elect Marc Chaloupka as the delegate and Steve Aldrich as the alternate. Motion was made by Tim Jones and seconded by Mary Broussard. The motion carries with 5 ayes.

D. ADJOURNMENT

MOTION 3366: I move to adjourn the meeting. The motion was made by Marc Chaloupka and seconded by Dayne Foster. The motion carried with five ayes.

Without objection, President Lowy adjourned the meeting at 5:33 p.m.
