A. CALL TO ORDER

Vice President Marc Chaloupka called the meeting to order at 5:40 p.m.

B. DECLARATION OF QUORUM

Vice President Marc Chaloupka, Secretary Dayne Foster, Trustees Tim Jones, Steve Aldrich, and Mary Broussard were present. Larry Johnson arrived at 5:42 p.m. President Susan Lowy was absent.

C. PERSONNEL
1. Consider Approval of Memorandum of Understanding Regarding the Brazos County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program for the 2002-03 school year.

Steve Johnson, Superintendent, introduced Greg McIntyre, Director for Personnel and Student Services. Mr. McIntyre is the contact person for facilitating the Approval of Memorandum document. Dr. Johnson requested that the Board authorize the Superintendent to approve the Memorandum of Understanding document. Last school year, 2001-2002, was the initial year for the Brazos County JJAEP. College Station ISD had only one student attend the JJAEP at no cost to the district reported Mr. McIntyre.

MOTION 3378: I move to authorize the Superintendent to approve the Memorandum of Understanding Regarding the Brazos County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program for the 2002-2003 school year. The motion was made by Tim Jones and seconded by Steve Aldrich. The motion passed with six ayes.

D. ADJOURNMENT

MOTION 3379: I move to adjourn the meeting. The motion was made by Dayne Foster and seconded by Steve Aldrich. The motion carried with six ayes.

Without objection, Vice President Marc Chaloupka adjourned the meeting at 5:45 p.m.
